Mark Schulman
Mark Schulman is the drummer for Pink, Foreigner, Billy Idol, Cher, Velvet Revolver, Stevie Nicks, Simple Minds, Cheryl Crow and many others. Speaker, author of the new book Nerve Breakers: Conquering Life’s Stage Fright, professional speaker, music producer, songwriter and studio owner.
There is a certain class of professional drummer that keeps turning up on my radar screen, and every new time it’s with a bigger, more interesting gig than the last one.
When you factor in the average (short) amount of time that an act usually spends at the top, you can be excused for asking, “how did he do that?”. With Mark Schulman, I never needed to ask that question.
Aside from being immensely talented, Mark is like a mood elevator, raising the spirits of everyone in the room. This has got to be good for a show, any show, and it projects so well from the stage; everyone knows Mark is having fun up there– It’s contagious.
It doesn’t hurt that Mark really knows his stuff, and that’s why I am glad that he has picked some songs out for us.
